Conceived as a serene urban retreat, this Ahmedabad apartment serves as a second home that balances hospitality with privacy. The design organises the residence into clearly defined public and private zones, creating spaces for entertaining while ensuring intimate family living. A restrained monochromatic palette of amber oak, black-tinted veneer and soft grey surfaces responds to the generous scale of the interiors, creating a timeless and cohesive architectural language. Concealed doors and integrated storage within continuous wall panelling establish clean, uninterrupted volumes while revealing a hidden library and private quarters.
Carefully crafted details, including bespoke furniture, semi-precious stone inlays, handcrafted timber elements and curated artworks, enrich the tactile experience without overwhelming the space. Abundant natural light animates the interiors throughout the day, enhancing the material palette and spatial composition. The result is a refined home where spatial design, craftsmanship and art come together to create a calm, sophisticated and enduring living environment.
